لا. الزوائد الجلدية وبعض الآفات الحميدة أو المتقرنة قد تشبه الثآليل. التشخيص مهم خصوصاً إذا كانت الآفة تنزف أو تتغير أو غير معتادة.
No. Skin tags and other benign or keratotic lesions can resemble warts. Examination is important when a lesion bleeds, changes or has atypical features.

Cryotherapy
يستخدم التبريد الطبي برودة شديدة بشكل مضبوط لتجميد نسيج الثؤلول وعلاجه في الحالات المناسبة. ويختلف وقت التجميد وعدد دورات التجميد والذوبان ومجال العلاج بحسب الموقع والسماكة وطبيعة الجلد.
Medical cryotherapy uses controlled extreme cold to freeze wart tissue and treat it in appropriate cases. Freeze time, the number of freeze-thaw cycles and the treatment area vary according to site, lesion thickness and skin characteristics.

قد يحدث ألم أو احمرار أو تورم أو فقاعة بعد التبريد، وقد يحدث تغير مؤقت أو أحياناً مستمر في لون الجلد في بعض الحالات. كما أن الندبة ممكنة لكنها ليست النتيجة المعتادة عند العلاج المناسب.
Pain, redness, swelling or blistering can occur after cryotherapy. Temporary, and sometimes persistent, changes in skin colour can occur in some cases. Scarring is possible but is not the usual outcome with appropriate treatment.
هل تكفي جلسة واحدة؟
Is one session enough?
بعض الثآليل تحتاج أكثر من جلسة أو طريقة علاجية مختلفة، خاصة حسب الموقع والحجم ومدة وجودها. لا تُضمن الإزالة الكاملة من جلسة واحدة.
Some warts require repeat sessions or an alternative treatment depending on site, size and duration. Complete clearance from one session should not be guaranteed.

Special locations
الثآليل حول الأظافر أو في باطن القدم أو على الوجه تحتاج موازنة دقيقة بين الفائدة وخطر الألم أو تغير اللون أو الأثر الموضعي، وقد تختلف الخطة عن ثؤلول صغير على اليد.
Periungual, plantar and facial warts need site-specific planning because pain, pigment change and local tissue effects matter. Management may differ from a small wart on the hand.
