علاج الحول | Strabismus Treatment
الحول هو عدم اصطفاف العينين بشكل متناسق، وله أنماط وأسباب مختلفة لدى الأطفال والبالغين. العلاج يعتمد على نوع الانحراف والعمر والرؤية ووظيفة العينين وليس على المظهر وحده.
Strabismus is misalignment of the eyes and has different patterns and causes in children and adults. Management depends on the deviation, age, vision and binocular function rather than appearance alone.
التقييم وقياس الحول
Assessment and measurement
يتضمن الفحص اتجاه الانحراف ودرجته وهل هو دائم أم متقطع، الرؤية في كل عين، الانكسار وحركة العينين. لدى الأطفال يُبحث أيضاً عن كسل العين وتأثير الحول على التطور البصري.
Assessment considers direction and magnitude of deviation, constant versus intermittent pattern, vision in each eye, refraction and eye movements. In children, amblyopia and visual development are also assessed.

Glasses and amblyopia treatment
بعض أنواع الحول تتأثر بأخطاء الانكسار وقد تستفيد من النظارات. إذا وُجد كسل عين، قد يحتاج علاجاً موازياً؛ تصحيح الكسل لا يعني بالضرورة أن كل الحول سيختفي.
Some strabismus is influenced by refractive error and may improve with glasses. Coexisting amblyopia may need separate treatment; improving amblyopia does not necessarily eliminate all ocular deviation.

Non-surgical management
بحسب النوع قد تشمل الخطة المراقبة أو النظارات أو علاجات أخرى موجهة لوظيفة الرؤية. لا يناسب كل خيار كل نوع من الحول.
Depending on the type, management may include observation, glasses or other measures directed at visual function. Not every option suits every strabismus pattern.
متى تُناقش الجراحة؟
When surgery is considered
قد تُناقش جراحة عضلات العين عندما يكون الانحراف مناسباً للتصحيح الجراحي بعد القياسات والتقييم. قرار الجراحة يعتمد على أهداف وظيفية وتشريحية وتجميلية واقعية.
Eye-muscle surgery may be considered when the measured deviation and clinical situation are appropriate. Surgical decisions balance functional, anatomical and appearance-related goals.

Surgery location and follow-up
إذا أصبحت جراحة عضلات العين جزءاً من الخطة، تتم مناقشة الهدف من العملية والتوقعات ومكان إجرائها مع المريض أو الأهل. العمليات التي تحتاج غرفة عمليات تُجرى في مستشفى أو منشأة جراحية مناسبة، وتبقى الاستشارة والتخطيط والمتابعة جزءاً من مسار الرعاية مع د. سارة. ويُحدد الفريق الجراحي بحسب طبيعة الحالة والإجراء المطلوب.
If eye-muscle surgery becomes part of the treatment plan, the goals, expectations and surgical location are discussed with the patient or family. Procedures requiring an operating theatre are performed at an appropriate hospital or surgical facility, while consultation, planning and follow-up remain part of the care pathway with Dr. Sara. The surgical team is determined according to the individual case and procedure required.
